Zigbee2MQTT has released its latest update, bringing support for 41 new devices, numerous improvements to existing integrations, and a set of stability and Home Assistant discovery fixes.
Expanded Device Support
The release adds compatibility with a wide range of devices, including the Philips Hue White and Color Lightstrip Flux, Aqara Curtain motor C200, SONOFF Zigbee smart switch MINI-ZB1GS, Shelly Dimmer 0/1-10V PM Gen4, and many more from brands like SOMFY, Heiman, OSRAM, and Tuya. In total, 41 new models are now supported.
Key Improvements
Several existing devices received enhancements. The IKEA E2134 now supports on duration and trigger condition configuration. OWON PIR313-E exposes battery percentage and improved reporting. SONOFF devices like the SNZB-02LD gained OTA support, and the TRV-ZBT valve now supports multi-schedule groups, calibration, and history improvements. Aqara’s DS-K02D/DS-K02E lock saw fixes for stale actions, and its UT-A01E gained OTA support. Bosch RM230Z thermostats now allow configuring HA climate modes and expose weekly schedules. Shelly 2PM covers now have configurable tilt, and Shelly Gen4 devices support button mode scene actions. The underlying Zigbee stack was updated to support EmberZNet 9.1.0 (EZSP v19), and the Sonoff Dongle-PP10 is now auto-discovered.
Stability and Home Assistant Integration Fixes
Home Assistant discovery received several refinements, including better handling of user overrides, exposure-level metadata, and unit conversion for weather sensors. A new MQTT option mqtt.server_name allows overriding TLS SNI. Device-specific fixes address issues like incorrect voltage/power reporting on Tuya plugs, ghost events on Aqara locks, and alarm duration on SONOFF SNZB-09P. Many brands such as Legrand, Schneider Electric, Wyze, and NodOn received corrections for various sensor states and configuration failures. The Docker base image was bumped from Alpine 3.23 to 3.24, and an improvement ensures the bridge state is republished online when Home Assistant reconnects.
Frontend and Detection Updates
The frontend was patched with icon map corrections and Develco OUI addition. Additionally, many new Tuya and Zemismart device fingerprints were added, improving automatic detection of devices like Zemismart ZMS-206US-4, Nous A7Z, and various Tuya soil sensors. These enhancements ensure that more devices are recognized out of the box without manual configuration.
