A series of security flaws have been identified in Adobe products, with the most critical carrying the risk of arbitrary code execution.
The affected software includes Adobe Bridge, a robust asset management solution that enables creative professionals to preview, organize, edit, and publish creative assets seamlessly across the Creative Cloud ecosystem, and Adobe Format Plugins, which are add-ons that allow Adobe applications to safely handle file formats, convert data types, and process specific file structures.
If successfully exploited, these vulnerabilities could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code within the context of the logged-in user. Depending on the user’s privilege level, an attacker could install software; view, alter, or delete data; or even create new accounts with full system rights. Users operating with limited privileges may face less severe consequences than those with administrative rights.
