Home Assistant Core Update: Bug Fixes and Integration Improvements

imagem 2

This Home Assistant Core update brings a collection of fixes and enhancements aimed at improving stability and performance for self-hosted users. On the core side, the HTTP integration now correctly stores recovery configurations with the full trusted proxy network, and a refresh is triggered after an OS update install, ensuring smoother system upgrades. The frontend has been updated to version 20260624.5, and a dynamic icon is now available for light groups. Additionally, the ESPHome update process no longer holds a global lock when the dashboard has a build queue, reducing potential bottlenecks.

Several integrations received important updates. Teslemetry sees multiple fixes: it now correctly triggers re-authentication on LoginRequired errors, resolves issues with covers reporting false open/closed states when data is missing, prevents a polling storm when credits are insufficient, and fixes cabin overheat protection restored temperatures. Overkiz addresses missing regulation modes for Atlantic heaters, corrects inverted states for RollerShutterUno covers, and improves OAuth session handling for Rexel accounts. Unifi Protect, BSBLAN, Roborock, and ZHA also benefit from dependency bumps and bug fixes—such as proper device trigger cache resolution in ZHA—while YoLink water meter controllers now correctly report valve status instead of showing ‘Unknown’.

Other notable improvements include: the SMTP integration now adds debug logging for legacy notification actions and fixes missing ‘To’ headers; rest_command correctly handles digest authentication with templated hosts; Sonos avoids a blocking call when retrieving the UID; and the Wyoming satellite pipeline no longer restarts on error. Alongside these, numerous underlying libraries were updated, including ical, habluetooth, dsmr-parser, tuya-device-handlers, and many others, to maintain compatibility and reliability.
