Security researchers have identified multiple vulnerabilities in Dell Secure Connect Gateway, an enterprise monitoring and connectivity tool for Dell infrastructure. The most serious of these flaws could permit arbitrary code execution. If successfully exploited, an attacker could gain the same privileges as the currently logged-in user. Depending on the user’s access level, the attacker might then install programs, view, alter, or delete data, or even create new accounts with full user rights. Systems where accounts are configured with fewer user rights would likely be less impacted than those operating with administrative user rights.
