Device Integration Fixes
This update delivers a range of fixes across many device integrations. Hive now normalizes the authentication username before login, while Roomba stops mutating the module-level sensor list. Openhome players will no longer become unavailable between polls, and webOS TV clears the source when the current app is not in the source list. Vizio drops the unknown-app sentinel for non-app inputs and fixes an issue where soundbars required authentication. Satel Integra handles monitoring failures more gracefully, and Tesla Fleet bounds the first vehicle refresh with a timeout while also fixing a shared wakelock across multiple vehicles. Nest climate now recomputes supported features from live device traits, and UniFi reports WAN latency as unknown when a monitor is unresponsive. The MELCloud Home energy interval has been corrected, Alexa Devices fixes the unique_id for service entities, the Xbox follower sensor is renamed to “Followers”, and Nibe heatpump adds a l/min unit mapping. The actron_air integration receives an API update, and esphome setup will no longer fail when Supervisor is not ready.
Dependency Updates and New Capabilities
Several underlying libraries were bumped to improve stability and compatibility: alarmdecoder (adext 0.4.7), midea-local (11.0.1), airos (0.6.12), Google Calendar sync (gcal-sync 9.1.1), Satel Integra (satel_integra 1.4.0 and 1.5.0), Remember The Milk (aiortm 0.20.1), Vizio (vizaio 0.6.2), ZHA (2.2.2 with matching quirks), WaterFurnace (1.9.0), Roborock (python-roborock 7.4.1 and 7.4.2), ATAG (pyatag 0.3.7.1), ViCare (PyViCare 2.62.1), Reolink (reolink_aio 0.21.16), enphase_envoy (pyenphase 4.0.3), and the frontend (20260826.7). Portainer gains a volume filter, Weheat switches to PKCE for OAuth2 authorization, and ViCare retries setup when the API quota is spent.
Reliability and Security Enhancements
For self-hosted users, several changes improve system robustness. go2rtc now redacts credentials from server log output, and the MCP client no longer double-initializes during config flow. Remote Calendar receives improved error messages, an increased HTTP timeout, and preserves form values on error. local_todo explicitly specifies UTF-8 encoding for ICS storage and repairs malformed ICS files with CRLF newlines at setup. sftp_storage retries setup when the SSH connection fails, and usage_prediction streams events instead of loading them into memory, reducing memory overhead.
